Community Impact
My commitment to service extends beyond my professional work. I've developed learning materials to help hospice care teams better support patients and families during life's most difficult transitions, and I've spent countless hours volunteering directly with patients across a range of needs and circumstances. I also co-chair an organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ professionals, helping build community and open doors for those navigating their careers while being their authentic selves.

Valor Hospice — Volunteer & Learning Materials Developer
Fort Worth, TX | 2024 – Present
- Developed educational and training materials to support hospice care teams in delivering patient-centered care
- Provided direct companionship and support to patients across a range of diagnoses and circumstances
- Provided compassionate companionship to hospice patients, offering emotional support and presence during end-of-life care
- Spent time with patients across a range of diagnoses and life stages, tailoring visits to individual needs and preferences
- Built trusted relationships with patients and families through consistent, reliable volunteer visits
LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce: Queer Professionals Network of Fort Worth — Co-Chair
2025 – Present
- Co-lead programming and strategic direction for an organization supporting LGBTQ+ professionals
- Coordinate logistics, speakers, and venues to deliver at least 12 events annually for the professional community
- Lead end-to-end event planning, from concept through execution, fostering community and professional connection
- Write and distribute a regular newsletter keeping ~200 members informed on events, opportunities, and community news
- Develop and post social media content across Instagram and Facebook to promote events and community news
